A Just-Finishing Candle A candle is made to become entirely flame. In that annihilating moment it has no shadow. It is nothing but a tongue of light describing a refuge. Look at this just finishing candle stub as someone who is finally safe from virtue and vice, the pride and the shame we claim from those.

Una vela que casi se consume Una vela esta hecha para convertirse completamente en llama. En ese momento de aniquilación no tiene sombra. Es tan solo una lengua de luz describiendo un refugio. Mira esa mecha que casi se consume como alguien que finalmente está a salvo de la virtud y el vicio, del orgullo y la vergüenza y culpa que resultan de ellos.

The Tao #16 Lao Tzu Empty your mind of all thoughts. Let your heart be at peace. Watch the turmoil of beings, but contemplate their return. Each separate being in the universe returns to the common source. Returning to the source is serenity. If you don't realize the source, you stumble in confusion and sorrow. When you realize where you come from, you naturally become tolerant, disinterested, amused, kindhearted as a grandmother, dignified as a king. Immersed in the wonder of the Tao, you can deal with whatever life brings you,  and when death comes, you are ready.

El Tao #16 Lao Tzu Vacía  tu mente de pensamientos. Que tu corazón esté en paz. Observa la confusión de los seres pero también contempla su retorno. Cada individuo en el universo regresa al origen común. Regresar al origen es serenidad. Si no percibes el origen te tambaleas en la confusión y la tristeza. Cuando te das cuenta de donde vienes naturalmente te vuelves tolerante, desinteresado, divertido, de buen corazón como una abuela, digno como un rey. Inmerso en la maravilla del Tao puedes hacer frente a las situaciones que la vida te va presentando, y cuando llega la muerte, estas lista.
