Your Features The light you give off did not come from a pelvis. Your features did not begin in semen. Do not try to hide inside anger radiance that cannot be hidden.

Tus Rasgos La luz que tu emanas no vino de una pelvis. Tus rasgos no empezaron en el semen. No intentes esconder dentro del enojo el resplandor que no puede ser escondido.

Commentary: Carl Jung had a dream in which he was walking up a mountain path and came to a church. Entering the church he saw a yogi seated in meditation. Jung’s dream ego knows somehow that he was the dream of the yogi and that he would die when the yogi woke up.

In my dreams I have experienced a presence without fear only moved by compassion.

Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you.” The Bhagavad Gita points to this core self saying, “Weapons cannot cut it, fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it and wind cannot dry it.” 
Stanford professor Stephen LaBerge, who studies lucid dreaming, writes of having a lucid dream of driving in his car in the desert and his car rising up into the air. His car drops away and his body drops away. He is filled with the feeling of ‘how great thou art’ - he was part of the thou – no separation.
As do all who transcend ego, Rumi points us away from body identification and towards identity with the core self, the Friend, the Christ, or the Buddha. The name is unimportant.

Comentario: Carl Jung tuvo un sueño en el cual iba caminando por una vereda subiendo una montaña y llegaba a una iglesia. Al entrar al recinto veía a un yogui sentado en meditación. El ego en el sueño de Jung  sabía que él era soñado por el yogui y que moriría cuando el yogui despertara.

En mis sueños he percibido una presencia sin sentir miedo, únicamente compasión.

Jesus dijo “El Reino de los cielos está dentro de ti”. El Bhagavad Gita apunta hacia la esencia del ser cuando dice “Ningún arma puede herir al espíritu, ni el fuego puede quemarlo, ni el agua puede mojarlo, ni el viento puede arrastrarlo”. 
El profesor de la Universidad de Stanford Stephen LaBerge, especialista en sueños lúcidos, describe haber tenido un sueño lúcido en el cual iba manejando su auto por el desierto cuando se empezó a elevar. Su automóvil cayó y su cuerpo también. El se sentía  pleno “Cuan grande es Él” - era parte de Él - no había separación.
Como todos los que han trascendido el ego, Rumi nos guía alejándonos de la identificación con el cuerpo para percibir nuestra esencia verdadera, al Amigo, a Cristo, a Buddha. El nombre no importa.
