Already Under - Ya Estoy Debajo - 64

Already Under Late by myself, in the boat of myself, no light and no land anywhere, cloud-cover thick. I try to stay just above the surface, yet I am already under and living within the ocean.

Ya Estoy Debajo De noche conmigo en el barco de mi ser, sin luz ni tierra en ningun lado, y una espesa neblina. Intento flotar justo arriba de la superficie pero ya estoy debajo viviendo en el océano.

Commentary: The ocean is the source. In ego identification we are land creatures going around with a sense that something is missing. Perhaps we ride on large boats on the ocean built of other’s constructs of reality, separated from experiencing the source by intellectual ideas. Jung stated that religion was a veil to cover the face of God. Rumi tries to float on the surface of the source using the boat of his body but finds himself submerged in God.

Comentario: El océano es el origen. Identificados con el ego somos criaturas en la tierra deambulando con la sensacion de que algo nos falta. Tal vez salimos a navegar en grandes barcos en el océano creado por la realidad inventada por otros, incapaces de experimentar la esencia porque tenemos tantas ideas intelectuales. Carl Jung dijo que la religión era un velo para cubrir la cara de Dios.  Rumi intenta flotar sobre la superficie del origen utilizando el barco de su cuerpo pero se encuentra sumergido en Dios.
