The Self we Share - El Ser que Compartimos - 147

The Self we Share Look fish, you are already in the ocean. Just swimming there makes you friends with glory. What are these grudges about? You are Benjamin. Joseph has put a gold cup in your grain sack and accused you of being a thief. Now he draws you aside and says, You are my brother. I am a prayer. You are the Amen. We move in eternal regions, yet we worry about property here. Let this be the prayer of each: You are the source of my life. You bring rivers from the mountain springs. You brighten my eyes. The wine you offer takes me out of myself into the self we share. Doing that is religion.

El Ser que Compartimos Mírate pez, ya estas en el océano. Por el simple hecho de nadar en él eres amigo de la gloria. ¿De que se tratan estos rencores? Tu eres Benjamin. José ha puesto una taza de oro en tu costal de semillas y te acuso de robarla. Ahora te lleva aparte y dice, Eres mi hermano. Soy una oración. Tu eres el Amén. Nos movemos en regiones eternas, pero nos preocupamos de la propiedad aquí. Deja que esta sea la oración para cada quien: Tu eres el origen de mi vida. Tu traes ríos de los manantiales de las montañas. Tu iluminas mis ojos. El vino que ofreces me saca fuera de mi y me conduce hacia el ser que compartimos. Hacer eso es religión.

Commentary: Egos projection of repressed unconsciousness onto the world and judgmental referencing everything according to its desires and aversions must produce grudges. Always Rumi pulls us away from ego identity and into a friendly relationship with the universe and the source of the universe, “out of myself into the self we share.”

Comentario:  Cuando el ego proyecta hacia el mundo el inconsciente reprimido y su única referencia es  juzgar todo según sus deseos y aversiones claro que se producen rencores. Rumi siempre nos saca de esa identidad con el ego y nos muestra la relación amistosa con el universo y el origen del universo “fuera de mí me conduce hacia el ser que compartimos”.
