The Far Mosque - La Mezquita Lejana - 236

The Far Mosque The place that Solomon made to worship in, called the Far Mosque, is not built of earth and water and stone, but of intention and wisdom and mystical conversation and compassionate action. Every part of it is intelligent and responsive to every other. The carpet bows to the broom. The door knocker and the door swing together like musicians. This heart sanctuary does exist, though it cannot be described. Solomon goes there every morning and gives guidance with words, with musical harmonies, and in actions, which are the deepest teaching. A prince is just a conceit, until he does something with his generosity.

La Mezquita Lejana Ese lugar que hizo el rey Salomón para rendir culto, llamado la Mezquita Lejana, no está construido de piedra, agua y arena, sino de intención, sabiduría, conversaciones místicas y acciones compasivas. Cada parte de ella es inteligente y sensible a cada una de las partes. La alfombra se inclina ante la escoba. La  puerta y quien toca a la puerta oscilan juntos como músicos. Este santuario con corazón sí existe, aunque no puede ser descrito. Salomón va ahí cada mañana y guía con sus palabras, con armonías musicales y en acciones, que son la enseñanza más profunda. Un príncipe es tan sola una presunción, hasta que hace algo con su  generosidad.

Commentary: When I get into a modality of pressurized haste, look out! I will then do something stupid and resent the task. I love to work in harmony with the task. In this far mosque the destination loses it’s importance and bows and surrenders at each step down the path.

Comentario: Cada vez que me pongo en la modalidad de tener prisa y estar bajo presión ¡Cuidado! Seguramente haré algo estúpido que  luego resentiré. Me encanta trabajar en armonía con la tarea que tengo a la mano. En esta mezquita lejana el destino pierde importancia y me inclino y entrego ante cada paso que doy en el camino.
