Longing - Anhelo - 208

Longing Longing is the core of mystery. Longing itself brings the cure. The only rule is, Suffer the pain. Your desire must be disciplined, and what you want to happen in time, sacrificed.

Anhelo El anhelo es el núcleo del misterio. el anhelo en sí mismo trae la curación, la única regla es sufrir el dolor. Tu deseo debe ser disciplinado y lo que deseas que suceda en su momento sacrificado.

Commentary: Food, especially sweet food, is a depressant drug takes the edge off. Another way of saying this is food, as an addiction, sucks the vitality out of life. Setting up a dichotomy where the inner parent is beating up the inner hungry child in an attempt to limit food intake is disastrous. The adult needed is one who can embrace the hungry child and the shaming parent; finding a middle way that honors the desires of the child while honoring the desires of the parent.  

Comentario: Ciertos alimentos, especialmente los dulces, son como una droga para la depresión que le quita el filo. En otra palabras, este tipo de comida es una adicción que absorbe la vitalidad de la vida y además crea una desastrosa  polaridad entre  el padre interno que se la pasa golpeando al niño hambriento interno para limitar lo que come. Se requiere de un adulto interno que pueda abrazar al niño hambriento y al padre que nos hace sentir culpables, y que puede honrar y mediar entre los deseos del niño y los del padre.
