Out Beyond - Mas Allá - 246

Out Beyond Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. Ideas, Language, even the phrase each other doesn't make any sense.

Mas Allá Más allá de las ideas de hacer el mal o hacer el bien, hay un prado. Ahí te espero. Cuando el alma se acuesta en esa pradera el mundo está demasiado completo para hablar de el. Las ideas, el lenguaje, aun la frase uno y otro dejan de tener sentido.

Commentary:  Eating the fruit of the tree of good and evil represents humanity’s developing ideas of right and wrong doing. The fruit of this tree was being kicked out of paradise.  Here the poet tells of returning  to paradise with the gift of consciousness.
Comentario:  Comer la fruta del árbol del bien y el mal representa el desarrollo humano de hacer el bien o el mal. El fruto de este árbol significó ser expulsado del paraíso. Aquí el poeta habla de regresar al paraíso con el regalo de ser consciente.
