Cry Out - Pide a Gritos - 95

Cry Out Crying out loud and weeping are great resources. A nursing mother, all she does is wait to hear her child. Just a little beginning whimper and she's there. Cry out. Do not be stolid and silent with your pain. Lament, and let the milk of loving flow into you. The hard rain and the wind are ways the cloud has to take care of us.

Pide a Gritos Pedir a gritos y sollozar son excelentes medios. Una mamá amamantando está atenta a escuchar el llanto del bebé. Al primer lloriqueo ella está ahí. Pide a gritos. No te quedes impasible y en silencio con tu dolor. Lamentate y deja que la leche del amor fluya hacia ti. La tormenta y el viento son formas que tiene la nube para cuidarnos.

Commentary: This poem solidly grounds suffering; repressed suffering causes mental and physical illness. The Tibetan lamas have seen their country raped and pillaged by the Chinese. Their holiest temples have been burned. Of course they would be angry! But Buddhism says send love, so the anger gets repressed. And this is just one example. In Catholic priests and nuns, they have found a high incidence of cancer of the prostate and reproductive organs. Repression of natural human emotion once again.”

“Parece ser que un gran numero de lamas Tibetanos sufren de diabetes...Los lamas tibetanos han visto a su país violado y saqueado por los chinos. Sus templos más sagrados han sido quemados. Claro que están enojados. Pero el Budismo les dice que manden amor, y el enojo se reprime. Este es tan solo un ejemplo. Entre los sacerdotes y monjas católicos han encontrado una gran incidencia de cáncer de próstata y de los órganos reproductivos. La represión de una emoción natural humana.
