You may be planning departure,
as a human soul leaves the world
taking almost all its sweetness with it.
You saddle your horse. You must be going. Remember that you have friends here as faithful as the grass and the sky.

Tal vez estés planeando tu partida como alma humana que se va del mundo llevandose casi toda su dulzura.
Ensillas tu caballo. Ya estas listo para partir. Recuerda que aquí tienes amigos tan leales como el pasto y el cielo.
¿Te he fallado? A lo mejor estás enojada. Pero recuerda nuestras noches conversando, el trabajo bien hecho, las rosas amarillas en el océano,
el anhelo, al arcángel San Gabriel cuando dijo Que así sea.
